Deep Dive in Measurement System Analysis MSA

1 day: Intensive training in Measurement System Analysis

Introduction

Every day, we make decisions based on data. This may involve divergence, financial monitoring, metrics such as QLE or KPI, samples, lab results or other information. If the information is inaccurate or misleading, there is a risk that the decision is incorrect. Measurement system analysis involves evaluating how viable my measurement system is or in everyday language:

”Can I trust the information?”

We will review different types of measurement systems, introduce various capability measures of measurement systems and methods to improve the measurement system. By pedagogical exercises we will practically demonstrate the shortcomings of different measurement systems and how to improve them. The focus of the training lies on how to practically improve the measurement- and information systems.
