Project Mentoring

A freshly trained belt being challenged by tough projects is hard. Knowing how to facilitate the team, working with the champion, remembering key steps of the different tools through the stages of the project is not trivial. To maximize the results delivered by belts, especially in their first projects, SBTI strongly recommends assigning an experienced mentor to each belt.

SBTI consultants are often engaged as mentors in initial stages of a Lean Six Sigma deployment before internal capability has been developed by the client. Once the first waves of belts have been successfully delivering their projects they can start taking over as mentors.

Mentoring and certification is also included as an integral part of SBTI open Green Belt and Black Belt training offering.
